About Co-Founder

My name is Joan Akpokere, and I am a co-founder/recruiter at Staff Spark Inc., where I help professionals find the right roles, and organizations find the right professionals. I started my career with a strong understanding of the legal world, and have found passion in connecting talented people with opportunities that truly suit them.

Given my experience as a recruiter, I have learnt that recruitment is beyond matching a resume to a job description. It involves listening, asking the right questions, and understanding what drives both candidates and employers. I have had the opportunity of working with amazing people, from young lawyers taking their first big leap to seasoned partners exploring new horizons, and every story has taught me something new.

I am genuinely passionate about helping others grow in their careers and building lasting relationships based on trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to excellence.

When I am not working, you can either find me in the kitchen cooking new recipes, working out at the gym, exploring new places or traveling.
